1. Data Collection with Firebase Analytics

Smart Tip Calculator uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand app usage patterns and improve user experience. This may include non-personal data such as:

• Device type and OS version
• App usage time and screen visits
• Basic engagement metrics (e.g., button clicks, session duration)

No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected or stored by the developer.

2. Compliance with Data Regulations

We comply with data privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA. If required by law or app store policies, users will be notified and may have the option to opt out of analytics tracking.

3. Internet Usage

Although the app works offline by default, Firebase Analytics may require an internet connection to transmit anonymized usage data. No data is sent if the device is offline.

4. Third-Party Services

Apart from Firebase Analytics, no third-party SDKs, ads, or APIs are used. There are no advertisements or external content in the app.

5. Permissions

This app does not request any sensitive permissions such as location, camera, contacts, or microphone.

6. User Settings

All user preferences (e.g., tip percentage, currency, dark/light mode) are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored settings.

7. Children’s Privacy

This app is suitable for all age groups, including children. It does not collect personal data or display inappropriate content.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect app changes or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on the Google Play Store listing and/or inside the app.
